Transformation must lead to being an effective influence in society to infusing it with the Gospel of the Kingdom. Our identity towards effective transformation is making Jesus Christ Lord of the community we are affecting.

Influence is defined as follows.

INFLUENCE- Power, pressure, authority, control impact, effect. The effect of something on a person, thing or event. The Good News Fellowship had its humble beginning in October 1980, when Church of God missionary Rev. Fred Buser and his family, together with Mom Thelma Perry Marcum, came to the Philippines and started work among the students of Baguio City. In faith, they leased a building at the corner of Otek and Carino St. which came to be known as the Good News Center, a Christian Dormitory and Students Center, where weekly worship services formed an integral part of the student activities.
